Returns Specialist

Position Overview

The Returns Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing the process of client returns, ensuring efficient handling and resolution while maintaining positive relationships with both customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process client returns to company stock and suppliers using in-house processing software.
• Apply for supplier RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) numbers.
• Ensure that appropriate products are shipped to the supplier.
• Ensure zero outstanding open RMAs in the database aged over 60 days.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers/manufacturers via appropriate communication methods to aid smooth operation of returns.
• Transfer stock from bin to bin or warehouse to warehouse using in-house processing software.
• Familiarize and obtain a thorough understanding of in-house processing software (AX and MS Outlook).
