An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Trust to join the maternity services across York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals as Lead Midwife for Workforce and Retention. You will work as part of the senior midwifery leadership team to understand challenges to retention of staff and implement strategies, seeking opportunities to address these. The role is cross-site, encompassing the footprint of York and Scarborough NHS Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Workforce and Retention Lead Midwife will work closely with all members of the midwifery workforce, including support staff, midwives, managers and leaders.
