Retail Planner

The Retail Store Planner will be responsible for the strategic allocation and replenishment of stock across the retail store network to maximize sales, optimize inventory levels, and business strategies.

The role combines analytical thinking with operational execution, ensuring that each store is aligned with company targets in terms of product mix, space utilization, and sales performance.

Cape Town based, Permanent

Responsibilities

• Allocate stock to stores based on performance, capacity, and regional factors
• Manage replenishment rules, reorder points, and minimum/maximum stocks where relevant
• Monitor store-level inventory KPIs (e.g., sell-through, cover, weeks of stock)
• Identify over/understocked stores and execute inter-store transfers where necessary
• Analyze product performance to inform markdown and exit strategies
• Partner with senior planner to align product lifecycle planning with store needs
