Job Description
The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations of the restaurant while supporting its mission as a social enterprise focused on newcomer employment and integration. This role combines operational leadership with community-focused mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and customer service
- Supervise and support staff, including refugee newcomers in training
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and employment standards
- Oversee inventory, budgeting, and reporting
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for staff and customers
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to support training and settlement objectives
