Job Description & Requirements
  • Should have knowledge about properties and usage of herbs and spices in food preparation, and cook Indian and Bangladeshi dishes in a traditional way.
  • Ensure all dishes are freshly prepared and food standards are met.
  • Plan and arrange ingredients for the next day’s preparation and orders.
  • Monitor stock rotation procedures to follow inventory practices.
  • Maintain quality of food.
  • Understand customer requirements as per order.
  • Have a deep understanding of authentic Indian food preparation and capacity to work under pressure during extremely busy periods.
  • Introduce new dishes and menus.
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
