Response Technician
Location: Barnsley
Salary: From £27,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30-4:30pm (Flexibility required due to reactive nature of the business)

We are recruiting for a Response Technician on behalf of our client, a leading environmental response and specialist industrial services provider based in Barnsley.
This is a frontline emergency response role, attending incidents such as oil spills, chemical spills, hazardous waste removal and environmental emergencies. The successful candidate will often be first on-site, so we are looking for someone who can remain calm under pressure, work safely in challenging environments and always represent the business professionally.
The role involves carrying out safe response activities, maintaining vehicles and equipment readiness, and ensuring all work is completed in line with strict HSE and regulatory requirements.
