Respiratory Care Practitioner (Ft - Days)

Position Summary

FTE 0.9 - Days: 06:30-19:00. This is a non‑union position.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, arterial puncture, sample analysis, and point‑of‑care testing.
• Administers treatment modalities and aerosolized medications to patients.
• Provides ventilator management, including patient assessment and intervention.
• Uses respiratory care equipment and prepares medication and supplies.
• Responds to Code Blue situations and provides appropriate intervention, including BLS and airway management.
• Provides quality care to patients who require respiratory care expertise.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age‑related needs of the patients served on the assigned unit.
