Setting: Private in-home support

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to assist a visually impaired, Type 1 diabetic, independent adult- in his home - for full-time day shifts starting March 2026 ? to be determined

Key Responsibilities

• Respect the individual's rights, independence, and choices within their home.
• Provide accurate, legible documentation: shift logs, incident reports, and assigned record-keeping.
• Make and keep appointments when needed
• Take client to appointments, grocery shop, etc.
• Light cooking – lunch and snacks
• Monitor, record, and administer insulin when required (training will be provided).
• Complete assigned household tasks and maintain sanitary practices.
