Resident Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure all civil and structural works are constructed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and architectural intent
• Review engineering and architectural drawings to identify coordination discrepancies and outstanding details
• Highlight and communicate design or construction issues to designers for amendment or practical solutions
• Ensure all required site tests and inspections are carried out by the Contractor in accordance with specifications and Bills of Quantities
• Assist consultants in coordinating works between site and design office
• Maintain proper records of site instructions, test results, inspection records, and site diary for QC purposes.
• Lead and supervise a team of Inspectors of Works (IOWs) to ensure workmanship quality.
