- Strong background in hospitality and proven experience as a Reservations Planner or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of reservation systems such as NightsBridge, Semper, Res Request, Eezee, Room Racoon, Opera, Protel, HMS, HTI, and Apex.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to organise and multitask.
- Coolness under pressure and a stickler for deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing reservations.
- Leadership qualities to motivate and mentor your team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Managing reservation processes, including bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
- Using reservation management software to optimise occupancy and revenue.
- Monitoring reservation trends and adjusting strategies to maximise profitability.
