Research Coordinator I Cardiology Research (Job Id 15963)
The research program involves multiple studies in patients with cardiac arrhythmias. They include randomized trials of anti‑coagulant drugs in patients at risk for stroke with atrial fibrillation, trials of ECG monitoring and respiratory variable monitoring, using wearable devices on exercise capacity, rhythm, patterns, and breathing patterns. There are trials of different antiarrhythmic strategies for patients with cardiac arrest including antiarrhythmic drugs. There are multiple clinical trials on the optimal use of implanted devices, including pacemakers, biventricular pacemakers. There are other studies on the effect of cardiac arrhythmias and their treatment and patient related quality of life using questionnaires.
