Research and Development Engineer

Tasks & responsibilities

• To take ownership and accountability of R&D by co-ordinating resources to ensure department efficiency and continual improvement.

• To be responsible for the process planning and development of new product- Designs- 2D& 3D drawings for parts, assembly and detailed part drawings (BOM), prototyping, mould making to initial mass production.

• To analyse and resolve technical issues and challenges in fabricating, assembly, test, application and design and follow up closely on recovery plan for any setback encountered in the new products.

• Provide engineering support and handling product reliability improvements and cost reduction through engineering and design changes.

• To execute continuous improvements on Process Improvement, Cost Improvement, Tooling Improvement and Assemblies Improvement.
