Job Purpose: R&D Chemists utilize Chemical, Chemical Compounds & Chemical process to create new products & technologies to achieve Organizational goals. Modifies procedures for processes from time to time in order to compete with the customers. Key Responsibilities Formulate Product prototypes & evaluate them for Chemical & Physical Properties, performance & stability. Improve current formulations of products when needed. Research Product formulations & Properties of raw materials. Establish Product Specifications & Procedures as required for R&D Products. Obtain Process Technology & Equipment information for Production. Conduct research & field evaluation on new products. Develop new products & improve functioning of existing products. Provide technical & Supervisory support within Laboratory & other departments as required. Coordinate research & development activities within all organizational departments.
