Hi there, I’m looking for a handy person to replace a worn door handle on an interior door and install a new secure latch. The job involves removing the old hardware, fitting a new handle set (standard UK size), aligning the strike plate, and testing the mechanism for smooth operation. I’d prefer a tidy finish with minimal damage to the surrounding trim. If you have experience with UPVC or wooden doors, that’s a plus.
