Academic Cardiologist (Risk Factor Management)

The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University and the Lipid and Risk Factor Services at Hamilton Health Sciences invite applications for an Academic Cardiologist (Risk Factor Management). This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable) in the Special Appointment Category. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Cardiology and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. Clinical duties will primarily take place at Hamilton General Hospital, focusing on outpatient care for patients referred to the Lipid and Prevention Services. This role does not include inpatient responsibilities or access to echocardiography or nuclear imaging interpretation.
