In this role, you will provide day-to-day engineering and operational support for a complex enterprise infrastructure environment, including VMware, Windows, Linux, storage, and networking systems. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining VMware technologies such as vSphere/vCenter 8.x, VMware Aria, Horizon, SRM, and vCloud Suite while ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and reliability. You will monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, perform patching and upgrades, execute backup and recovery operations, and respond to system alerts to maintain operational compliance. The position also supports SAN storage integrations, enterprise networking, and data management initiatives. Working closely with infrastructure teams, you will contribute to architecture planning, system migrations, and modernization efforts focused on cloud readiness.
