We are seeking an experienced Remote Sensing / GIS specialist for a scientific research project involving the comparative analysis of two agricultural sites.
Project Goal
To explain observed differences between two sites by analyzing climatic, altitudinal, and soil-related constraints using satellite data and spatial analysis.
Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for:
Comparing agro-climatic conditions between two sites using remote sensing
Integrating altitude effects into temperature and thermal stress analyses
Linking climatic variables with soil physicochemical properties (data provided)
Producing quantitative, publication-ready results suitable for a scientific article
Data Sources
Sentinel-2: NDVI (EVI if relevant)
Landsat 8/9: Land Surface Temperature (LST)
CHIRPS: Monthly and seasonal precipitation
Soil physicochemical data (provided)
