Relief Pharmacist

Job Overview

This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescription medication (Rx) accurately and on time. The role ensures adequate inventory levels, provides patient counseling with proper documentation, interacts positively with internal and external customers, and promotes public health through community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and on schedule for patients.
• Maintain adequate inventory of prescription medications and over‑the‑counter supplements.
• Provide friendly, positive, and proactive counseling regarding new and additional medications.
• Educate customers and create awareness through public relations activities (public health days, clinics, etc.).
• Resolve patient needs and doctor requests/issues promptly.
• Control costs at all levels within the Loblaw Pharmacy dispensary.
