The RAMS Engineer is responsible for ensuring that railway gangway systems meet defined
R eliability,
A vailability,
M aintainability, and
S afety
(RAMS)
requirements across the full product life cycle, in compliance with international railway standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Reliability & Availability
Develop and manage
RAMS plans
in accordance with
EN 50126 / IEC 62278
Perform
FMEA / FMECA , reliability block diagrams, and failure rate calculations
Calculate
MTBF, MTTR, Availability (Ao/Ai)
Support design optimization to reduce failure rates
Maintainability
Define maintenance concepts, intervals, and repair strategies
Support spare parts strategy and maintenance manuals
