Release Engineer

Job Description

The Release Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across multiple Agile and Waterfall teams, serving as the central point of contact for all release‑related activities. This role facilitates bi‑weekly intent meetings and monthly release meetings, owning agenda creation, stakeholder coordination, detailed note‑taking, and follow‑up management. The Release Engineer enforces release governance by ensuring UAT completion, documented signoffs, and overall release readiness. Working closely with DevOps teams, the role supports efficient and secure CI/CD pipelines, monitors and troubleshoots build and deployment issues, and validates environments across development, testing, staging, and production.
