Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Wage per hour $25.09–$26.58.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planned, patient‑oriented, goal‑directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary team members through continuous, effective communication.
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making changes as required.
  • Complete accurate clinical assessments, care plans and documentation, ensuring timely updates.
  • Teach, delegate and direct unregulated care providers, providing coaching and mentorship.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
  • Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and experience working with seniors.
  • Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long‑term care an asset.
