Responsibilities

• Provide community-based physiotherapy services within the full scope of practice outlined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, including assessment, diagnosis, education, and intervention.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions and support rehabilitation needs from the perspective of chronic disease prevention and management.
• Deliver physiotherapy services independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including rehabilitation assistants.
• Ensure practice is consistent with professional standards, ethical frameworks, and organizational policies.
• Participate in continuing education to support professional growth and meet patient population needs.
• Conduct reflective practice, evaluating and updating knowledge to improve patient care quality.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards.
