Registered Nurse - Unit 3Plastics & Gen Surg Float Pool (Edmonton)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family centered care on an acute surgical unit in accordance with the UAH and AHS policy and procedures. The 3D3 Plastic and General Surgery unit provides staffing to nine 18+ bed units consisting of Plastic/Reconstructive and General Surgery patients. Decisions are made in a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting. The RN is expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives, supporting and maintaining high quality patient care strategies within the surgery program.
