Job Description

Support a high school student as their dedicated nurse in a school setting for a rewarding contract opportunity. This position involves 1:1 care for a medically fragile student who requires close attention throughout the school day, including transportation on the bus to and from school. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the student's health, safety, and daily participation in their educational environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered LPN or RN license is required
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatric nursing, especially with high-needs students
  • Proficient in tracheostomy and ventilator care
  • Skilled at working both independently and collaboratively
  • Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations
  • Professional, compassionate, and able to adapt swiftly to changes in health status
  • Ability to confidently ride the bus and manage care in transit
