Schedule:4-10 Hour Shifts from 6:30am-5:00 pm; Weekday and weekend on-call requirement
Candidate Preferences:Minimum of 1-2 years cardiac and vascular experience required
Unit Overview:
The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within Surgical Services at Henry Ford Jackson is a specialized, high-acuity surgical environment focused on the care of cardiac and vascular patients in a Level II Trauma setting. The team supports a wide range of complex procedures, including open vascular, endovascular, CABG, and valve surgeries, operating under a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. CVOR nurses function primarily as circulating nurses, coordinating all aspects of patient care during procedures—maintaining the sterile field, supporting the surgical and anesthesia teams, monitoring patient status, and ensuring readiness of equipment and supplies in a fast-paced, high-st...
