**Description:**

Radiology RN's

+ Coverage areas are all imaging procedures which include CT; MRI; Fluoroscopy; Nuclear Medicine; Breast Imaging support of variety of procedures which can include pre/post calls; anesthesia/sedation recovery; etc

**Clinical & Technical Skills**

+ IV access (including difficult access patients)
+ Medication administration
+ Sedation monitoring & recovery
+ Pre- and post-procedure assessment which includes clearance (lab)
+ Hemodynamic monitoring
+ Basic telemetry rhythm recognition

**Critical Thinking & Safety**

+ Rapid identification of patient deterioration
+ Ability to escalate appropriately (RRT, code protocols)
+ Infection prevention (especially procedural breast imaging)

**Patient Care & Communication**

+ High-level patient education (procedures, risks, consent support)
