Utilizes a systemic approach to provide individualized, goal-directed, nursing care by performing comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, making nursing diagnoses that serve as the basis for the strategy of care, developing a plan of care based on the assessment and diagnosis, implementing care and evaluating the patient's responses to nursing interventions.Facilitates departmental operations through completion of all patient logs, charge requisitions and other paper work, as well as maintain required documentation of patient care and unit activities in accordance with standards.Organizes activities during the immediate pre-procedure period to ensure that all required assessments are completed and documented fully, and assumes responsibility for the efficient managemen...
