Job Title: Registered Nurse - L&DLocation: Lodi, CADuration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)Shift: NightGuaranteed Hours: 36Roles and responsibilities:Patient Assessment & Monitoring – Evaluate maternal and fetal health throughout labor, using vital signs, fetal heart monitoring, and physical assessments.Labor Support & Care – Provide physical and emotional support to patients during all stages of labor, promoting comfort and safety.Medication & Intervention Administration – Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, epidurals (with physician), and assist with labor induction or augmentation.Collaboration with Healthcare Team – Coordinate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, midwives, and other staff to ensure safe delivery and care.Emergency Response – Identify and act quickly in obstetric emergencies such as fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, or preeclampsia.Postpartum Care & Education – Monitor mother and newborn after delivery, providing education on breastfeedi...
