About the role
The Gastroenterology Department:
- Collaborate in the endoscopy service and to the broader Gastroenterology team of consultants, specialist nurses for IBD and Hepatology, and the National Bowel Screening Program co-ordinators.
- Upskill in the gastroenterology field and learn technical skills for assisting with flexible endoscopic procedures.
- Support a diagnostic outpatient service, and to be exposed to a different type of nursing practice.
- Participate in our after-hours acute service roster.
- Expand your knowledge in areas like population bowel screening, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease.
- Shifts are rostered between 0730 and 1800
