Main duties of the job As a Forensic Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care within a low secure forensic environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support service users through their rehabilitation journey, promoting safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
In addition to providing direct clinical care, you will assist in the effective management of the ward by helping to coordinate shifts and supporting the Charge Nurse and Team Leader in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and responsive service. You will act as a positive role model, providing guidance and support to junior staff, students, and new team members. The role includes a requirement to work a full range of shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
