Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to cardiac surgery patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to interventions.
- Assist in surgical procedures and prepare the operating room as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and call as required.
- Hold a valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- Possess current CPR/BLS certification.
- Maintain ACLS certification.
