Job Description

The Registered Librarian is responsible for the selection, acquisition, organizing, and cataloging the library materials resources, developing and managing information systems, assisting users with information retrieval and research, conducting information literacy training, and managing library collections and services in the school setting.

He/she also assists the other department heads, professors, and students for the resource materials available in the Library.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of Library and Information Science or related Education course; Pass the professional licensure examination (Registered Librarian);
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year work related experience. Fresh graduates but licensed librarian are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: With satisfactory communication and interpersonal skills, knowledgeable in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), organized and keen to details.
