Join St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer in a part-time capacity. Focus on performing 2D and Doppler echocardiograms with a passion for patient care.
In this essential role, you will provide quality cardiac sonography services to both adults and neonates. Recent experience in 3D/4D echocardiography is necessary, along with active participation in educational programs for learners. You will also engage in research and quality improvement initiatives specific to echocardiography services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct all echocardiology exams independently for patients
• Prepare transesophageal echo trays and manage TEE probes
• Generate preliminary results and proofread final reports
• Participate in ongoing research projects and accurate record maintenance
• Assist with departmental monthly rounds and other assigned responsibilities
