Role Summary
The Regional Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for leading the end-to-end accounting cycle for the lending entities across several countries in Latin America and North America. The primary mission is to ensure the integrity of financial statements, guarantee tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions, and supervise the local team to achieve agile and accurate monthly closings.
Key Responsibilities
· Regional Closing: Oversee the accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and specific local GAAP in each country.
· Tax Governance: Coordinate with external local advisors to ensure timely filing of tax obligations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax) across all jurisdictions.
Process Standardization: Harmonize the Chart of Accounts (CoA) and accounting policies to ensure data comparability across the region.
