Job Title: Refuse Loader

Location: Malvern

Hours: 06:00 - 14:00 (Overtime available)

Pay: £12.71 (£13.29 after 12 weeks)

Overview

A local authority is looking for a Refuse Loader to join their team. Full‑time work is available, together with temporary cover for holidays and sickness, and additional work during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting commercial and domestic waste and loading it onto refuse wagons
  • Working in all weather conditions
  • Carrying out physically demanding duties, including lifting heavy bags
  • Being flexible and willing to work regular overtime when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Refuse Loader is beneficial but not essential
  • Must be physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • A valid Category B manual driving licence is preferred (van driving experience would be an advantage)
