Refrigeration Mechanic

Application Information

Reporting to the drilling and freezing engineer, the refrigeration mechanic utilizes their trade knowledge primarily to assist with the operation of our freeze plants, along with other refrigeration equipment on site. The safe, effective efforts of the tradesperson in this role play an important part in the success of our operation.

What You Will Do

• Contribute to the safe operation of the freeze plant and its associated equipment.
• Support the field training and mentoring of freeze plant operators.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of all refrigeration equipment on site, including the freeze plant, site HVAC, and kitchen refrigeration equipment.
• Help plan, coordinate, and execute freeze plant equipment shutdowns and start-ups.
