The role involves providing 9x5 support and weekend on-call services for Red Hat Linux and VMware-based virtualization platforms, with a readiness to work EU shifts (12 PM to 9 PM IST) but no night shifts. Responsibilities include incident and outage management, collaborating with Level-2 teams during off-hours on a rotational basis, and coordinating with vendors or engineering teams for troubleshooting complex issues. The position also entails OS, virtualization, and hardware upgrades as per vendor guidance, disaster recovery testing, and implementing scheduled changes during weekends or off-hours. Candidates must have 5â€'10 years of Linux/VMware administration experience, strong knowledge of Red Hat OS (version 7+), Ansible Tower, and scripting (Python/Shell).
