The City of Red Deer is searching for a Human Resources Manager for its Business Advisory Services. In this full-time role, you’ll oversee employee relations and lead strategic HR developments across the organization.
This position directly reports to the Chief People Officer and is integral to the HR leadership team. As a manager of a six-member team, you will facilitate workforce planning and help implement organizational change initiatives. Ideal candidates will demonstrate negotiation skills and a commitment to public service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement HR programs in line with the City’s strategy
• Mentor and develop the HR advisory team
• Consult on employee relations and leadership transitions
• Supervise collective bargaining and resolve grievances
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and laws
