Join a dedicated team as a full-time Recruitment & Retention Social Worker. This role promotes child welfare through support and training for foster and kinship families.

This temporary position with the Health & Social Development Department requires a Bachelor of Social Work and current registration with NLCSW. Candidates should have two years of experience in child, youth, and family services, preferably in Indigenous communities. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships is vital as you partner with CSSD to enhance foster family support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote the Caring for our Children Project through education sessions
• Establish trusting relationships with foster families
• Maintain confidential documentation and reporting
• Deliver training to foster parents as needed
• Travel as required for service improvements
