Recertification Program Ocean to River - Nautic - 2nd Officer in Training
Your responsibilities
- Assist the First Officer with ship, crew, guest, and environmental safety
- Continuously learn and train to enhance sailing skills
- Mentor sailors and trainees, ensuring compliance with guidelines
- Uphold cleanliness and order onboard
- Secure safe mooring and gangway installation
- Ensure that our Viking longships meets guest expectations
- Inspect mooring lines daily
- Ensure PPE compliance
- Report damage/issues to the Captain
- Ensure operational readiness of the rescue boat
- Share vital information with the Captain, First Officer, and Engineer
Our requirements
- 500 days sailing experience on ocean vessels
- Previous maneuvering experience on various vessels
