Reception and Customer Service (Placemaker)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Reception and Sales colleague (internally known as a Placemaker) at Places Leisure. In this role you will work in a lively environment, supporting new and existing members with excellent customer service and promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective and existing members, providing information and support.
• Maintain a positive first impression and ensure smooth front‑office operations.
• Use membership management sales tools and techniques effectively.
• Work collaboratively with team members to inspire teamwork and help the group achieve its objectives.
• Support ongoing training and development, including customer service, sales, lifeguarding, swimming teaching and other cross‑skills.
