Real Estate Manager – Calgary

Shell Canada is seeking a Real Estate Manager to lead the delivery of its retail real estate strategy in Calgary. The role oversees all real estate activities—including acquisitions, leases, renewals, dispositions, expropriations, and property management—while managing a team of property managers and paralegals and working closely with internal partners such as Legal and external real estate partners.

Accountabilities

• Oversee commercial real estate fundamentals (rent, taxes, fees, valuations, performance).
• Drive and develop the real estate strategy and growth pipeline (NTI and NTS opportunities).
• Lead negotiations for leases, renewals, buyouts, co‑locator agreements, and expropriations.
• Deliver timely budgets, forecasts, valuations, and actionable real estate insights.
• Manage contracts, disposals, expropriations, and network optimization decisions.
