DescriptionSupporting documentsEmployerLocationTo provide high-quality, targeted reading interventions for students in Years 7 to 11 to improve literacy outcomes across the academy. To be based primarily in the library, leading the assessment of students' reading abilities and implementing stage-not-age intervention programmes. To support students across a broad spectrum of need, ranging from fundamental letter and word recognition to advanced reading and comprehension fluency. To bridge the gap between targeted intervention and the wider curriculum by supporting students within the classroom to apply their literacy skills. Be proactive in supporting the wider reading team to foster a love of reading and a culture of literacy across the student body. Support the librarian with administration of the library.
