Job Description

SUMMARY:

Provide assistance to the Technology organization, with regard to product / process development efforts, via: (1) Trials on pilot equipment; (2) Trials on full scale manufacturing equipment; (3) Laboratory experimentation; and (4) Testing, analysis, and reporting.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute pilot trials Understanding of / ability to operate pilot production equipment
    Experience with process controls and exacting SOPs
    Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials, and new product prototypes according to specified test procedures
    Record and summarize test data and observations from product and raw material testing; proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    Review and modify test methods to ensure accurate and useful data
    Assist in the scale-up to full production capabilities
    Maintain laboratory notebook
