The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced and motivated R&D Team Manager to lead our Next Generation Grids Transformers team in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, you will manage a team of 5+ engineers and drive the development of advanced and innovative technologies, including medium frequency transformers and power electronics enhanced transformers. You will combine people leadership with strong technical guidance and project ownership, contributing to the execution of R&D strategy in a global environment.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Lead, develop, and motivate an international R&D team of 5+ engineers with know-how in medium frequency transformers, power converters and lab testing
• Provide technical leadership and support the team in solving complex engineering challenges
