R&D System Engineer

How you'll make an impact:

• Contribute to RD projects from the initial concept stage to final product rollout.
• You will be responsible for the overall electrical system including.
• Selection of appropriate ratings (power, voltage, current) of the equipment.
• Selection of on-board battery energy and voltage levels or agreeing these with other partners, e. g. , bus OEMs.
• Designing the overall charging system based on an understanding of the dependence on the above.
• Develop and assess protection concepts for low voltage - low power charger (100kW 600V DC).
• Develop and assess protection concepts for high power chargers (1500kW 1500V DC).
• Develop system simulations for grid code compliance (THDi, THDu, power factor, DC ripple etc. ).
• System design, SLD MLD (single- and multi-lines diagrams), BOM (bill of materials).
• Write tutorial, guidelines, test procedures, report templates for engineering...
