Responsible for executing Medical Affairs Plans within the assigned therapeutic area for pre-launch and newly launched products or indications. The role drives scientific engagement and builds strategic partnerships with external experts and internal stakeholders to shape clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and support the safe and effective use of AstraZeneca Rare Disease medicines.As an internal- and external-facing medical role, this position provides clinical and scientific expertise for new assets, strengthens AstraZeneca’s scientific leadership, and works cross-functionally to accelerate the rollout of NMEs and Line Extensions.You will drive scientific engagement within the assigned therapeutic area (RD) by building trusted relationships with HCPs, key external experts, and relevant stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.
