Position at Dumas About the Role:
As a Raise Miner at Dumas, you will be responsible for developing vertical or inclined openings (raises) and installing critical infrastructure such as ventilation systems, manways, and utility services. This role ensures safe access, proper airflow, and operational efficiency between mine levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Excavate and advance raises using approved drilling and blasting techniques.Install ventilation ducting and fans to maintain airflow in the raise.Construct and secure manways (ladders, platforms, safety landings) for personnel access and emergency egress.Install water lines, air lines, and electrical cables as required for mine operations.Ensure all services are properly anchored and protected during mucking and blasting.Ensure compliance with Dumas and site-specific safety protocols and environmental regulations.Communicate effectively...
