Radiologic Technologist

Performs quality scans accurately and promptly, following physicians' orders and special instructions. Assists with operative Room cases and interventional procedures, as needed, in diagnostic and CT/MRI modalities. Safely operates CT/MRI or X-ray equipment following manufacturer's guidelines and ALARA. Prepares patient's room with needed supplies and medications/contrast. Provides history and communicates with the Radiologist regarding protocol changes. Provides essential Imaging services for the department. Practices Image Gently and Image Wisely on ALL exams.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT Registered in X-ray and other modality(s) or registry eligible
  • Preferred One (1) year of patient care experience in Radiology
  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License
  • Current BLS Certification
