POSITION SUMMARY:

Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of all diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of pediatric immobilization devices adhering to safety precautions.
• Must prepare or enter written documentation as required by the Department, such as informed patient consent, patient chart documentation, and other related duties.
• Perform portable and operating room examinations in a timely and professional manner, must observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary.
• Check equipment supplies and accessories on a regular basis.
• Assess the physical needs of the adult and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate the ability to recognize and ally patients' fears and apprehensions about exams.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
